Trust
What we promise before you send a single page.
These are written into every agreement: the terms we would want if the book were ours.
In writing
Part of every agreementFinal cut belongs to the author
Casting, the look, the edit and release each wait for the author’s signature. Nothing goes out without it.
Your titles never train AI
Manuscripts are never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s, without your written permission.
Licensed and consented sources
Every voice, face and piece of music in a production is our own, licensed, or used with consent that is on record.
Rights that revert
We license only what the production needs, for a fixed term. If nothing is released, the rights come back to you.
Priced per title
One fee per title, quoted once we have read the book. No credits or per-image charges; authors revise as often as the work needs.
Rights before manuscripts
We confirm who holds the screen rights before we ask for a single page.
Security
How manuscripts are handledOnly after an agreement
We ask for a manuscript only once the screen rights are confirmed and an agreement is signed.
Private, encrypted storage
Manuscripts and production files are kept in private cloud storage, encrypted at rest and in transit, and reached only through signed links that expire.
The production team only
Access is limited to the people working on your title, each signed in to the studio. The author sees their own work on a private page.
Returned or deleted on request
When a production ends, or if it does not go ahead, we delete the manuscript or return it, as you ask.
Questions
Asked by publishersIs this an option deal?
No. We don’t hold your rights while we look for money. We agree a fee for one title, make it, and if it isn’t released the rights come back to you.
Who has the final say?
The author. Nothing moves past casting, the look, the edit or the final cut without their signature.
Will my book be used to train AI?
No. That promise is in our agreement, not only on this page.
How is AI used?
As a production tool, and we say where. People write the screenplay, draw the storyboards, direct, perform and edit. AI helps render images and some supporting voices. The author approves the result at every stage.
What does it cost?
Each title is quoted once we have read the book: an intimate drama and an epic are different productions. There are no credits or per-image charges.
What do you need from a publisher?
The title, confirmation of who holds the screen rights, and the author’s agreement to take part. The manuscript follows a signed agreement.
What is asked of the author?
Their judgement, at four points: casting, the look, the edit and final cut. Most of it happens on a private page, in minutes, on a phone.
What do you make?
Long-form film and series, photographic or animated, chosen per book. Not short clips.
You’re new. What have you made?
We are building a slate from public-domain books, Dracula, Pride and Prejudice, Alice in Wonderland and Mhudi, so you can judge the work before trusting us with yours.
